FEES

Initial Consultation:  The initial consultation session is 90 minutes and the rate is $275. This is a risk free appointment, meaning that if you decide that working with me is not a good fit, there will be no charge. 

Psychotherapy: Psychotherapy sessions typically last 50 minutes and the rate is $200. Sessions and clinical contacts lasting other than 50 minutes will be pro-rated based on this amount.

Professional consultation, assessments and related activities (reports, letters): $200 per 60 minutes, pro-rated as necessary.


Cancellation Policy: Except when due to unforeseeable circumstances, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full, according to the time and service scheduled.

PAYMENTS

I accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as well as personal checks and cash.


INSURANCE

I do not participate on any insurance provider boards due to my desire to protect your confidentiality and the quality of your care. There is evidence suggesting that insurance company involvement in mental health treatment can have adverse effects on the quality of care provided. Furthermore, the information that would be disclosed to your insurance company could potentially impact your ability to obtain coverage in the future. For those with out of network benefits my billing service will provide you with automated monthly statements that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement at your discretion.


SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Rather than offer a sliding scale option, a percentage of all clients’ session fees are placed in a scholarship fund. Funds from this account may be used by clients needing assistance covering the cost of their therapy, either for the duration of the time we work together or temporarily, during times of Availability of scholarship monies varies, so if you will require the support of schlease inquire about availability of scholarship funds when you are scheduling your initial consultation.
