I have received specialized training in empirically supported treatments of anxiety disorders, including exposure with response prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and prolonged exposure (PE) for PTSD. Overall, my approach to therapy is based on behavioral/learning theory, as well as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Personal interests

After spending numerous summers and vacations visiting the Rocky Mountain West to feed my love of the mountains, I decided to move to Colorado in 2004 to pursue a doctoral degree in psychology.  I have an extensive history in equestrian sports and rode dressage to the upper levels with Olympic trainers around the country. I decided to take a break from riding in 2008 and have been pursuing the study of Anusara Yoga, rock climbing, as well as running and hiking the Front Range with my two wee dogs.
